About this route
The spring classic. From the marina you cycle into the polder, past Oudesluis to Anna Paulowna, where the Poldertuin garden is full of flowering bulbs in spring. Via Callantsoog and Sint Maartensvlotbrug you return to Schagen. The Noordkop is the largest continuous bulb region in the world. From mid-March to the end of April the landscape turns colourful: first crocuses and daffodils, then hyacinths and tulips.
Good to know
- Come between mid-March and the end of April, when the fields are in bloom.
